Pokémon GO: Halloween Event Part 2
Shiny Greavard is introduced in the Halloween 2026 Part 2 event.
Before we dive in
Pokémon GO is a mobile game about discovering and collecting Pokémon. Players catch Pokémon, hatch Eggs and trade with other players to build their collections.
Events change which Pokémon and activities are available for a limited time. A Shiny Pokémon has a different colour scheme; an event debut does not mean every encounter will be Shiny. Check the announced dates before planning your playtime.
The update
The Halloween 2026 Part 2 event in Pokémon GO is introducing new content to the game, including the debut of Shiny Greavard, and this change matters because it gives players a chance to catch rare Pokémon and participate in limited-time activities.
The Halloween 2026 Part 2 event runs from 10:00 local time on November 1st through 10:00 local time on November 5th. During this time, various costume Pokémon will return to the game, giving players a chance to catch them. The event also introduces Shiny Greavard to the game, which has a different color scheme than the regular Greavard. This event is a great opportunity for players to catch rare Pokémon and participate in limited-time activities. The return of costume Pokémon and the introduction of Shiny Greavard will likely attract many players to the game during this period.
The event's start and end times are based on local time, so players should check the announced dates before planning their playtime. It's also important to note that a Shiny Pokémon has a different color scheme, but an event debut does not mean every encounter will be Shiny.
