Pokémon GO is a mobile game about discovering and collecting Pokémon. Players catch Pokémon, hatch Eggs and trade with other players to build their collections.
Events change which Pokémon and activities are available for a limited time. A Shiny Pokémon has a different colour scheme; an event debut does not mean every encounter will be Shiny. Check the announced dates before planning your playtime.
The update
A new Raid Day is coming to Pokémon GO, bringing Mega Chandelure to the game. This change matters because it offers players a chance to catch a shiny Chandelure and participate in more raids.
The newest Raid Day features Mega Chandelure in Super Mega Raid Battles. For three hours, players can participate in up to 20 Remote Raids per day and get up to 5 extra Raid Passes from Gyms. A paid ticket is available, offering increased experience and 8 additional free Raid Passes. The event runs from 2pm to 5pm local time. Players will also have a higher chance of finding shiny Chandelure after completing the raid.
The Raid Day is a great opportunity for players to catch a shiny Chandelure, which has a different color scheme than the regular Chandelure. With the increased number of Remote Raids and extra Raid Passes, players can participate in more battles and increase their chances of catching the shiny Pokémon.
