Before we dive in

The Pokémon Trading Card Game is both a physical card game and a collecting hobby. Expansion sets add new cards, while different rarities can give the same Pokémon different artwork or finishes.

Collectors may follow an illustration because they like its art, while players examine its attacks and abilities. A card reveal shows a particular design; it does not automatically confirm every detail of an unreleased expansion.

Delta Reign is part of the Mega Evolution line. A Mega Evolution Pokémon ex can have a powerful card effect, but its printed rule gives the opponent three Prize cards when it is Knocked Out. A Pokémon’s popularity, artwork rarity and usefulness in a deck are separate reasons to collect it.

The update

The English Delta Reign checklist is now available ahead of the November 6 release. It differs from the Japanese previews: not every pictured printing is in English booster packs.

PokéBeach’s October 23 set guide lists English cards numbered 001–103, followed by secret rares 104–141. Delta Reign is a physical Mega Evolution expansion drawing on Japan’s Storm Emeralda and MEGA Starter Decks.

The full-art Mega Rayquaza ex and regular Eevee ex have been left out of the English expansion. Kyogre’s Illustration Rare is an Elite Trainer Box promo instead. This does not mean all Rayquaza or Eevee cards are absent: check the specific printing. A future release for omitted artwork has not been confirmed.

Prereleases run October 24–November 1, with the retail release November 6. Ask your local participating store about its event schedule and availability.

The gallery below preserves 186 preview image entries, including Japanese cards, alternate printings and separate promos. It is not 186 unique English booster cards or a complete English-image checklist. The newly published English list and this preview archive serve different purposes; only a limited selection of English images is currently available.

Tap a card to enlarge it and inspect its language, printed number and artwork. Use the English checklist linked in the source credit to confirm pack inclusion. Images do not establish pull rates or future prices.

Competitive preview, October 26: in the public portion of his PokéBeach analysis, Grant Manley highlights Cacturne as a possible response to boards full of Pokémon with Abilities. He also discusses Pincurchin as a potential answer to Energy-heavy Mega Rayquaza setups and Giratina as an attack-copying option. These are a player’s early evaluations, not established tournament outcomes or a guarantee that a card will be competitive. The full strategy article is members-only; this summary uses its public excerpt.
