Pokémon TCG Pocket’s Dual Fusion expansion is live with 217 cards
Dual Fusion is live with 217 cards, dual-type Pokémon and six rental decks; the anniversary reward campaign starts October 30 at 1 a.m. Chicago time.

Before we dive in
Pokémon TCG Pocket is the mobile card-collecting and battling game, separate from the physical Pokémon TCG. A new expansion adds digital cards to collect and use in decks; it is not a release of physical booster packs.
Dual Fusion begins Pocket’s C Series. Dual typing is a new feature for this game, so older assumptions about deck matchups may need revisiting once the full card details are available.
The update
Dual Fusion is now available in Pokémon TCG Pocket. The expansion introduces dual-type Pokémon, including Psychic/Fighting Mega Mewtwo X ex and Water/Darkness Mega Greninja ex.
The full checklist contains 217 cards. These are digital Pocket cards, separate from physical Pokémon TCG expansions. The packs are now available, so check the in-game offering rates and card details before choosing your chase.
Community Decks let players share deck lists, while the updated trading screen helps identify cards missing from a trading partner’s Card Dex. Six Dual Fusion rental decks are available until December 15 at 5:59 p.m. PST, according to Pokémon’s launch announcement.
The second-anniversary campaign begins October 29 at 11 p.m. PDT, which is October 30 at 1 a.m. in Chicago. It offers a ticket exchangeable for a booster guaranteed to contain a two-star card. The Promo Reissue Drop and Wonder Pick events start at the same time; check each event’s separate end date in the app.
