Pokémon UNITE will end service on March 23, 2027
UNITE closes online play on March 23, 2027 UTC. Download Library after the November 12 update and before shutdown to retain its limited offline features.

Before we dive in
UNITE is Pokémon’s free-to-start team battle game. Its closure affects online play, while a separate Library feature will preserve limited access to downloaded content.
The update
Pokémon UNITE will close its online service on March 23, 2027 at 00:00 UTC, across Nintendo Switch and mobile. That is March 22 at 7 p.m. in Chicago.
Aeos gem purchases, new UNITE Club memberships and automatic membership renewals stopped on October 27 at 05:00 UTC. Previously purchased gems remain usable until service ends; existing membership benefits continue through the current paid period.
A final update is scheduled for November 12 at 04:00 UTC. A special event will offer login and mission rewards, with Unite Coins exchangeable for existing licenses, Holowear and other items.
The November update also adds Library. Players must download its required data before service ends. After shutdown, it will offer limited access to records, owned content and the Practice Area; online battles and normal login will end.
Do not assume Library is a cloud backup: its data generally cannot move between devices, and lost or deleted data may be unrecoverable after closure. The official notice still lists Aeos Crown 2027 Tokyo, with qualifiers beginning December 5.
