Flowing Fists reportedly launches February 5 with Mega Lucario Z ex
PokéBeach reports Flowing Fists for February 5, 2027, with January prereleases and Mega Lucario Z ex.
Before we dive in
The physical Pokémon Trading Card Game releases expansions containing new cards for collecting and deck-building. Prereleases are early store events, distinct from the general retail launch. This concerns physical cards, rather than the Pocket mobile game.
The update
A new physical Pokémon TCG expansion is on the horizon: PokéBeach reports that Flowing Fists will feature Mega Lucario Z ex.
The reported English release is February 5, 2027, with prereleases January 23–31. Flowing Fists belongs to the Mega Evolution line and draws from Japan’s Aura Seeker release, scheduled for November 27, 2026. The Japanese and English dates describe different releases.
The featured Mega Lucario Z ex was previewed at Worlds. The image here is that earlier card preview, not final booster packaging. This report does not establish a complete English checklist, product prices or preorder availability. Treat further lineup details as pending official confirmation.
Riolu and Sigilyph ex were also shown in the earlier preview. Riolu is the Basic Pokémon that Mega Lucario Z ex evolves from. Sigilyph ex’s Mega Protection Ability prevents damage from attacks by opposing Mega Evolution Pokémon ex. The gallery collects these three English previews; it is not a complete final set checklist.
Reading the featured cards: Mega Lucario Z ex has 330 HP and evolves from Riolu. Its Aura Seeker Ability works while it is Active: once during your turn, search your deck for a Supporter, reveal it, put it into your hand and shuffle. Dancing Fist deals 120 damage, plus another 120 if the opposing Active Pokémon is a Pokémon ex. These details come from the English preview pictured below.
The trade-off is the Mega Evolution ex rule: when this Pokémon is Knocked Out, the opponent takes three Prize cards. Sigilyph ex’s preview offers a contrasting defensive role with protection from opposing Mega Evolution Pokémon ex attacks. That does not make it immune to every attacker or every source of damage; the exact card wording matters.
